Official BLK London Irish away rugby shirt from the 2022/23 season. Complete with #9 on the back of the shirt in original numbering.

This is BLK's superior 'player issue' version of the jersey. It features a slim fitting design, an upgraded material mix aimed at increased durability & flexibility, an applied 'Premiership Rugby Cup' patch over the printed league patch on the sleeve, a neoprene pouch inside the collar - used to house a GPS device that tracks a player's performance.

This jersey was acquired from a private collector of match worn rugby jerseys. There is no accompanying certification.

The condition of this original football jersey is 8/10 - Excellent. Some faint marks from being worn during a match (see photos).

In early May 2023, the RFU sought clarification from London Irish about why the club's players and staff had not yet been paid for April 2023.

On 15 May the RFU gave the club a 30 May deadline to sell the club to new owners, and indicated the club would be suspended from the Premiership if they were not satisfied the club had sufficient funding. Two weeks later, the RFU extended the deadline until 6 June.

On 2 June 2023, London Irish received winding up petitions from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) over an unpaid tax bill believed to be up to £1 million, which saw them forced out of business.
