The US Veore XV is the result of the merger of USC Portes-lès-Valence with the US Beauvallon Valley of the Veore.

These two neighboring clubs and rivals had the wise idea in 2002 to marry their colors -violet-yellow-black - in order to perpetuate rugby in the canton of Portes-lès-Valence.

Claude Icard, François Fustier, Pascal Sauret and Michel Courtial took almost two years to see the US Veore XV project come to fruition.

Today the US Veore XV is truly supported by the five municipalities of the canton, namely Portes-lès-Valence, Beaumont-lès-Valence, Beauvallon, Etoile-sur-Rhône and Montéléger.

For its first decade, under the protective eyes of its various Presidents, Patrick Devic, Jean-Claude Ponot, Gilbert Tournayre and finally Stéphane Bellamy and Michel Courtial, pampered by its many volunteers and educators with human and technical skills recognized by all, the club has grown well.

The Seniors Group has always played in International Honor or Federal 3 and the Reserve Team has performed well with two titles in Drôme-Ardèche (2010 and 2012).

The Rugby School has grown from 50 to nearly 100 start-ups. She also obtained her first diploma with the FFR label (Bravo to Jean-Thomas Poletti and his entire team). This growth has been accompanied by the training of many educators.

After Sébastien Chabal, the club is proud to have taken part in the emergence of Kevin Goze and Yohann Artru (youth internationals). Finally proof of good health, a Leisure team was formed during the 2011/2012 season.
