Official match worn Nike Barbarians long sleeved rugby shirt from the 1990 match against England, on the 29th September.
This jersey was worn by the Leicester Tigers player, Ian 'Dosser' Smith, who was given the squad number, 17 for the match commemorating the one hundred year anniversary of the Barbarians team. The jersey was later given by the player to the former Leicester Tigers first team secretary, President and stadium announcer, Tudor Thomas. The jersey remained in their private collection until it was purchased by ourselves in 2026. A signed letter of confirmation from Tudor Thomas's son, will accompany the jersey.
Accompanying this jersey is an original match day program, featuring the line-ups for the game. Smith #17 can be seen on the centre-fold pages, that features the line-ups for the match (there is a typo on his initials).

The Western Province Rugby Football Union (WPRFU) celebrated its centenary in 1983 with a series of special matches involving a "WP President's Centenary XV". Key matches included a 23 July 1983 game against Natal, a 27 July 1983 match against Western Province (DHL Newlands), and a 30 July 1983 fixture against the SARB President's XV.
